Huntsman Reciprocal Update 2024

Detroit Racquet Club and The Huntsman Hunt Club Ongoing Relationship October 2024

After much concern and follow-up discussion regarding the ongoing relationship between the Huntsman Hunt Club and the DRC; please note below the current relationship: 

• Due to the kindness and generosity of the Tebben Family; DRC members will have access to HHC based upon availability. 

• DRC members are not considered HHC members.

• Nonresident DRC members will not have access to the Huntsman Hunt Club. 

• All new members before having access to HHC must first attend the DRC Annual Hunt which is always the first Saturday in December.  This will allow a new DRC member to see firsthand the HHC facilities and learn what is expected for future access and behavior when visiting HHC.

• In order for a DRC member to access HHC:  they are to call the club and identify themselves as a DRC member.  They will be accommodated based upon availability.  It should be noted by DRC members that HHC’s busiest time for their membership is the October – December time frame and thus DRC member usage maybe curtailed.  DRC members will not have usage of HHC immediately following the Thanksgiving holiday which are their three busiest days.

• For HHC major events – DRC members may call and upon expressing interest, will be put on a waiting list if the event does not fill up with members.

• All DRC members must pay their bills for the day’s activities prior to departure.  Kindly remember that if you participated in sporting activities; you are to pay your bill in the pro shop. Also, if you had a meal – you will have a separate bill to be paid to the restaurant.
